The maximum speed for the DGT (VMP) version is 25 km/h to meet the restrictions of some EU countries such as Spain.

What’s the difference between KuKirin G2 Pro and G2 Pro VMP?
The G2 Pro VMP is the European road-legal version of the G2 Pro, limited to 25 km/h to comply with French & EU regulations for VMP (véhicules de mobilité personnelle). The standard G2 Pro can reach higher speeds (up to ~45 km/h) and is intended for off-road or private use.
What is the maximum speed of KuKirin G2 Pro?
The model can reach between 25 km/h (VMP Version) and up to 45 km/h (off-road/private use for the normal G2 Pro Version).
Can I ride KuKirin electric scooters in the rain?
